Yesterday, an exhibition of Russian avant-garde collection of Samara Regional Art Museum, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.

Without a doubt, among the most enigmatic works of the avant-garde in the collection include "Life in a big hotel" (probably because the Russian manner was translated the word "Grandhotel"). The canvas came to the museum in 1929, is written in the book first as a work by an unknown artist Vitebsk school. Subsequently, this work was directly attributed to Malevich painting repeatedly featured in international exhibitions, including the solo exhibition of Malevich in New York and Moscow. A few years ago as a result of photographing a special digital camera in the lower part of the painting has been recognized signature Malevich. This gave reason to confirm his authorship.

A. Rozanov work in the museum's collection consistently reflect the evolution of her creative vision - ranging from Battle of Kosovo, expressionist "Boulevard" (1911-12) to the Suprematist "Flying an airplane" in 1916. Kubofuturisticheskie trends embodied in the films "The construction of the house" (1913) and "Fire in the City" (1913). The last of them, can be attributed to the number of the few in the practice of Russian avant-garde purely futuristic works. The undisputed masterpiece of all Rozanov's works is a picture of "Fire in the City" in 1913, written on a sheet of tin. Sketch it is stored in the Nizhny Novgorod Art Museum.

A very special place in the collection of avant-garde occupy sent to Samara in 1921-1922 canvases of artists that are relevant to the State Free Art and the Higher Technical-start 1919-1920-ies.
