Boris Borsch was born in 1948 in Mogilev. Began to draw since childhood, went to art school at the Palace of Pioneers. With twenty years of taking an independent creation.
Boris Borsch was among a group of so-called "left" of the artists whose idea of ​​modern art have been formed mostly foreign magazines. Each team member has worked in his own style. The works were exhibited at the apartment exhibitions. In 1982 he decided to move from the Borscht Mogilev in Leningrad.

In those years, the artist attracted German expressionism, he wrote semi-abstract composition with stylized human figures. In search of his own pictorial style of the artist came to a point where the abstract speculative Wednesday abstract art ceased to interest him.
Creative crisis was resolved at the end of the eighties. The artist walked out of the studio to the noise of the city. Boris Borsch took easel and went to write the open air.
