Exhibition of drawings by Michael Ryasnyanskii (1926 - 2003)
Michael A. Ryasnyanskii was born May 17, 1926 in Taganrog, Rostov region.
He participated in World War II in the 305 Infantry Regiment 108 Guards Rifle Division, was dismissed due to a severe injury and concussion. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree and medals: "For Valour", "For Victory over Germany."
Vocational education he received in the postwar period, first in the Rostov Art College. Grekov, and then - at the Kiev State Art Institute (where he studied under TN Yablonsky and his first degree at the Faculty of Painting in C. A.Grigoreva in 1956). And in 1957 he became a member of the Union of Artists. From 1957 to 1968 he taught at the Chisinau School of Arts, and from 1968 to 1970 - at the Kiev Art Institute. At the invitation of the regional organization of the Union of Artists in 1970, he moved with his family to Nikolayev, where continued creative and educational activities of Mikhail Alekseevich.
He participated in numerous international, union, national and regional exhibitions. In 1976 he was awarded the title "Honored Artist of Ukraine", and in 2001 - "People's Artist of Ukraine."
The exhibition drawing together about forty graphic works, chronologically covering almost the entire career of Michael Ryasnyanskii. Most of the graphic artist's heritage during the life was given to them for storage in TSGAMLI Ukraine. In the exhibition the works owned by the artist's daughter.
