Closed major art fair ART ARENA and HUDGRAF

Today the organizers of fairs "Art Manege" and "Hudgraf" for media was sent a press release about the situation related to the closing of the new leadership of the museum and exhibition association "capital" of the major art fairs. "The closure of the Grand Art Manege Manege and depriving him of any state support means and closing the whole direction of artists to the public," says, in particular, in this statement.

On the eve of the curator of art fairs Irina Meleshkevich wrote a letter to the head of the Department of Culture of Moscow Sergey Kapkova asking to leave "Art Manege" and "Hudgraf" in the exhibition plans MBO. The letter was signed by several academicians and corresponding members of the Academy of Arts, but the response has been received from the Marina Loshak statement, which said that the exhibition does not fit into the new way of MBO "Capital". I felt it necessary to tell (without ratings - they think ahead ...) about the situation in the forum, as I recall, there were discussions repeatedly about both fairs, and a number of forum members and take part in these art projects.
