- At last it happened. The works were published. By some miracle the fire (you know, probably, that the father's country house caught fire and burned a huge number of works by artists of the sixties) survived only work Zvereva. The fact that they lay motionless for a long time - since the late fifties until 1976. They were not touched, and they compress under its own weight. Between them there was no air gap, so the fire burned only the edges. It has been many years since the exile of his father in Athens in 1977, and these lists were from me, they lay in a box in a suitcase in the folders. I had no idea what to do. I turned to the restorers, but so many things are literally crumbling, even the professionals have been difficult to recover. So I quietly began to do this myself. I was told and shown what to do - as an artist (after all I can do something with his hands), I plucked up the courage to start one after the other lead of the order. This went on for quite some time, but by December of last year the main part was finished. At this time - again, miraculously - we met up with Pauline Lobachevsky, who came to a small exhibition Zvereva, where we put up some pictures. Polina Ivanovna saw them and invited me to do a big project. She always takes the bull by the horns, she immediately came and looked and decided instantly that you need to do an exhibition in Moscow. And thanks to her and Natalia Opolevoy, who also joined our group of enthusiasts, this project, we have set in motion. For six months we were doing, and I think it turned out great.
