Cuckoo, the glass are everywhere.

A design can be said, the end of the 18th or early 19th century.

Thank you very much uriart. but confusing one, conducted an experiment with scratching the glass , the central pebble - leaves a deep impression, like a good glass cutter. Here indeed, is why I decided to go for the answer to this necklace. here is that the snout of the letters on the reverse side of one of the elements. maybe I 'm wrong ((( letter " Hm ," or " NS ". maybe it's a brand from an unknown master who worked in Riga 1895 - 1903. he was engaged , and jewelry, silverware and award marks. now found a spatula with the same letters (http://www.eremeevs.com/index.php?lotid=272473 sorry did not see in the photo ) and mark Donskoi public charity children orphanage Novocherkassk . Moscow, 1899-1908 . ( and there arose a question I have - the density of the stone?

The stone should check with the jeweler , and not scratch the glass.
Not only is the diamond, but
other crystals , which are harder than the hardness of glass , for example : Crystal , LPI , zircon , and so. can easily leave a trace on the glass.

are wrong . On spatula said that Hill - a brand assay master , Riga,
and the sign company Don -Hill nominal stamp of the master , Moscow.
These are different concepts. Master and assay master.
And why did you decide that your necklace is made of silver?
Where it is the sample ?

Cuckoo, the manner of fastening the stones for diamonds.

But the picture is clearly seen that it is not diamonds.

Most likely the glass.
