Then there were the "Leningrad Pravda", "Komsomolskaya Pravda", "Soviet Russia", "Work," and, finally, the "Literary Gazette," which was given almost a quarter century. A happy coincidence that resulted in the Leningrad intelligentsia into a hotbed of democracy and liberalism. The only issue where the photographer Vladimir Bogdanov could exist.

Recognition and fame came with a photo, "It is not my damn business." At the international competition "InterPressFoto-66" with the dog, he became the winner of the Audience Choice Award.
