"Invalid addressing" - one of the special projects of the Fourth Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, curated by Anna-Kaisa is Rastenbrger, senior curator of the Finnish Museum of Photography. The exposition will be from a witty and organic fusion of works of seven artists, the theme of "finding the wrong person" and "travel in the wrong direction."

The theory of evolution is still in the understanding of modern human basis of the scientific paradigm. Nevertheless, over time features of human change. The reason for these changes - mutations in the genes, errors or accidents. System failures occur, something is wrong place and it runs the additional mechanisms of adaptation.

The famous British anthropologist Mary Douglas wrote in 1966 that "the dirt - this matter, which has appeared not in the right place." It is deeply researched tendency to generalize all of human society and group. The study of these general groups helps to better understand our environment, but also be seen as distributed centers of power. When something is out of place - we begin to understand better where these centers on the reverse. Universal culture - this is one of these paradigms, which is based on the laws of science, and social norms that are considered at a particular time as a kind of imperative.

In this work the artists explore precisely this perspective, trying to show things or people caught in unusual place, where they should not, and make sense of the possible changes that cause these phenomena - all the things that we used to call the current problems of human society.
