"The modern city - it's not only the architecture, communication, recreation and industrial zones. There are living and working artists. Artists, for which the rectangular-cold modern city-hotel is an alien environment, which must be converted into human size, de-dehumanize through art .

Street art - it is also a democratic response to the elitism of traditional art contemporary art institutions. When a young man of the people understand that the walls of galleries and museums are not available to him, he picks up a spray paint the walls and is near an abandoned factory, or the bottoms of garages facing the railroad. Here it is not limited to any amount, no curatorial tastes, or other opportunistic considerations.

At the time of the exhibition space of the gallery walls and provided street performers. Under the terms of the trade fair participants will be accepted from the original concept in a free style and technique.

In parallel, a group of "traditional" artists try their hand at Street-art.

Dear friends! Heat is close to the records, all melted, but still among us are dedicated fans of old town. All the artists, who these days staying in Moscow or in any other city, we suggest to try himself in the genre of street art. At the time, thanks to Constable, Bonington and the Barbizon school plein air genre appeared, soon transformed from a "slap in the face of Public Taste" in regular artistic practice. Today the author is often forced to rethink the traditional methods of work, and we propose to consider the exercise of Street-art as a kind of "open-air contemporary artist." The project is divided into two components: the "street artists" and "artists." The first will be presented in traditional form on the gallery walls, and the second asked to do anything in the urban environment, ie go on some sort of change habitual context. The results will be recorded on photo-and video-media and presented in the gallery during the meeting, all participants in the symposium. Gallery will provide support to authors in the video-and photo-fixation products. Genre - absolutely free, includes both the traditional techniques of street art, and newly invented by the authors. Format "laboratory" allows us to be absolutely free. Do not miss the chance to participate in the strangest show of the summer! Opening day of the first part of the project "street artists" - July 28. Day for submissions for the second part of the "artists" - August 4.
