"What is a workshop in the artist's life? For me it is not only a place of work, a creative laboratory, or warehouse ready canvases. This is my world, which for me all organic. The world of my subjects, models, canvases, paints and books. A world in which I feel comfortable living and working.
Visual environment that surrounds us, psychologically affects not only the artist, and generally to anyone who creates it. Today, this environment is largely aggressive, hostile to man. It is overwhelming, annoying, castrates. This architectural eclecticism, miles of typical building and a huge flow of advertising, which falls on the person everywhere. Resist this can only create their own environment, let them at a very small area. For me, this is my creative workshop.
Subject creative workshop as a confined space more than once occurred in the works as the Western European and Russian artists. You can list them for a long time. Name only the most close to me.
