Grachev Mikhail Frolovich (1913-2003)
Leningrad painter. He graduated from the Institute. Repin in 1948, running as a thesis (under the guidance of VM Konashevych) design and illustrations for "The Lay of Igor's Host, and since 1951 his work began to appear at the Leningrad exhibitions. Upon graduation, Grachev has continued to develop in his work the theme of the thesis, a series of works in gouache technique of "Lay" (1949-1950). In the future most of the works devoted to the theme of Russian history.
Member of the Union of Artists. The master's works are in museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.
