    Moscow artist Andrei Volkov in the last ten years has been researching red - associated with it a symbolic number, its expressive power, the physical properties of paints. Range from orange-cadmium red and purple to kraplaka became his natural habitat and determine the properties of plastic authoring system.
    Using traditional materials of oil painting, he achieves a glossy, almost "mirror" surface quality of the canvas.     The new project "Fire Walk With Me" - a tribute special, "flaming" the essence of red, was realized in a series of paintings, objects written in 2010.
    As one of the tasks was to create a single semantic space, almost all things were created by taking into account the architectural features of the picture that makes the project more installation than a traditional exhibition, consisting of a series of individual works.
    The name, referring to David Lynch, was born out of one of his main ideas - things are not what they seem; Andrei Volkov believes this statement in full relating to their work.
