"Bear Mountain", oil on canvas, cm. The Signature "A. Popov 1834?"

Can anyone learns by caption, story or painting style.
I doubt, by matching the signature and painting, stretcher somewhere in the 60-ies, it is seen that the canvas was drawn from three sides cropped.
Examination in UV gave nothing, signature and painting the same glow.
