Artist Alexander Maranov

B. Alexander Maranov was born in 1962 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In 1981 he graduated from the Tashkent art school named after P. Benkov, and in 1987 the Tashkent state theatre-художественный Institute named after A. N. Ostrovsky. Currently, A. Mironov – member of the Union of artists of Uzbekistan and the International Federation of artists to UNESCO.

the artist"s Earlier works were executed in the realistic tradition of pictorial art. After 1992, when he came from Tashkent to Moscow, began to form his new and unique manner which has still not gained its name. His work is sometimes called paintings-видениями, and their author is referred to художникам-космистам.
Works are in the Museum of N. To. Roerich (Moscow), the Museum of the East (Tashkent), the Academy of fine arts (Tashkent), corporate and private collections in Russia, USA, Germany, Spain, Croatia, France, Switzerland, Italy.
