Maria Ilieva was born in 1973 in Sofia, Bulgaria.In 1991 she graduated from the National School of Fine Arts, and in 1997 - the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. Since 1997 he is member of the Association of Bulgarian Artists.

Maria works in the genre of murals, portraiture , still-life illustrations. Her works are owned by private collections in Germany , Great Britain, France, Russia and the United States.
