Artist Robert Heindel
Artist Robert Heindel was born in Toledo, Ohio, in 1938. To get into art school he had neither financial nor practical ability. Instead, like many young artists, he found a job in a professional Studio art. He became a correspondent of the famous artists school in those years and was commentarial:" famous school taught me self-discipline".Heindel and became an honorary member of the school Board and inspiration for young artists. In the 1970s he was recognized as one of the best artists of America. His work has appeared on the covers of Time 'magazine', he took his place in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian institution in Washington. More than twenty years, the ballet was his world, and Robert Heindel earned itself the title of" the greatest painter of dance since Degas" (David Bintley music Director of the Royal ballet, Birmingham).
Heindel worked with many leading ballet dancers and dance groups, always preferring their rehearsals to work on their sketches and paintings. He worked with the Royal ballet, Royal Birmingham ballet, Rambert Dance Company, American ballet theatre and San Francisco Ballet. Exploring this direction he worked and wrote many outstanding dancers - Darcy Bussell, Irek Mukhamedov, Viviana durante, sir Anthony Dowell and sir Frederick Ashton. Diana, Princess of Wales was a fan and collector of Heindel, and also participated in some of his exhibitions.
