Artist Edward Runci (Edward Runci was born in 1921 in Genoa (Italy). He started drawing at an early age. In 1930 he moved with his mother to the father in Pennsylvania. In America Runci won the contest of painting, but his father, despite the scholarship, forcing him to leave school and seek employment. In 1937, Edward goes to serve in the marine corps. In 1943 he meets Maxine, Sanderman, falls in love and marries. Later, she often poses husband. After the war, in 1945 is the first exhibition Runi and his career begins to gain momentum. In the late 40"s Edward draws a calendar and pin-up girls, and in the early 50"s, he goes into advertising.
